  • In the eastern part of the Algarve, close to the Spanish border, we find one of the most atmospheric small towns in the region, the town of Tavira, shining with its white-painted walls.
The settlement on both banks of the Gilão River is often referred to as the “Venice of the Algarve”, where you can find many old churches and mansions. The two sides of the charming city are connected by a romantic bridge from the Roman era.
  • .

  • During our tour, we will walk across the most romantic bridge in the Algarve, visit the largest and then the most beautiful of Tavira’s 37 churches, admire the fabulous garden blooming between the walls of the old castle, and we venture into the city’s most popular shopping street as well. And of course, we will also taste Ginjinha, the famous Portuguese cherry liqueur in a chocolate cup!
  • .

  • Ending the tour, you will enjoy 1-hour Fado music in an elegant place, which contains a live Fado show, a video presentation, and Port wine tasting accompanied by folar and dry fruits from the Algarve.
