    The settlement on both banks of the Gilão River is often referred to as the “Venice of Algarve”, where you can find many old churches and mansions. And the two sides of the charming city are connected by a romantic bridge from the Moorish era.

  • On this tour, we admire the fabulous garden blooming between the walls of the old castle, visit the largest and then the most beautiful one of the 37 churches of Tavira, venture into the city’s most popular shopping street, explore the calm city garden, we walk across the most romantic bridge in the Algarve, and finally, we taste the famous Portuguese cherry liqueur in a chocolate cup, Ginjinha, as well.
